Spartanburg Area Conservancy
SPACE is a private, not-for-profit land conservation organization whose purpose is to protect and preserve natural areas of ecological, historical, and aesthetic value to enhance the quality of life for all residents and future generations. Since 1989 we have protected over 1600 acres, and helped facilitate the protection of 438 more acres through the state Heritage Trust Program.
Palmetto Conservation Foundation
The mission of the Palmetto Conservation Foundation is to conserve South Carolina's natural and cultural resources, preserve historic landmarks, and promote outdoor recreation through trails and greenways.
Kudzu Koalition
The Kudzu Coalition goal is to make our communities and natural areas more attractive through awareness, experimentation, demonstration, and education in the use of non-herbicidal methods to control kudzu infestations with special emphasis on involving students and having fun doing it.
